Deep Dive classes are short, in depth classes and are ideal if you have not yet taken any classes. Learn to manipulate skin tones for beauty and drama. Practice grades that make skin younger and older. Compare the ideal skin tone in different cultures. Skin is the focus of so many images it must be right.

This is a hands-on level 2 practical masterclass for Resolve users, but colorists from other systems are also welcome. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own ungraded media to use in addition to the course media.

INSTRUCTOrs

Warren Eagles and Yuki Ariandi of the International Colorist Academy.

Warren will be conducting the class remotely from his studio in Brisbane, Australia while Yuki will be at Media ASYLUM with the participants.

INSTRUCTOR PROFILE

Warren Eagles has been coloring for 30 years and has been using Resolve since 2005. He co-founded the International Colorist Academy in 2009 and now splits his time between grading and teaching. Warren is based in Brisbane, Australia where he owns and operates his own color grading shop.

Yuki Ariandi, trainer with the International Colorist Academy.

  • Former adjunct lecturer at New York University’s Tisch School Of The Arts Asia and LaSalle College of The Arts Singapore
  • Conducts workshops and training on editing and color grading with the Avid Media Composer and Avid Symphony for professional users.

All ICA instructors have at least five years experience in the industry. They are working colorists, editors, and VFX artists.
